MOTORBIKES HANOI-BASED BUSINESS USES
Below are road bikes, touring motorbikes, dirt bikes, and scooters that Vietnam Offroad provides. In fact, scooters are only for riders who can’t handle manual clutch bikes. Scooters are only good when you ride in a private group with riders of similar riding skills. This way, you won’t hold anybody back. In general, we recommend the manual clutch because they are bigger, more powerful, and are able to travel with you anywhere.
Our shop has been providing near new or latest models of scooters in Hanoi. In fact, we use only genuine Honda products, no other brands, or Chinese fakes. Please take these details into account when you decide which bike to hire, ask about the bike model and year of manufacturing don’t just look at prices. In general, our rates are competitive and the quality is best.
We are not just competing on prices but on top is assistance when you are riding. In case you need assistance, no shop in Hanoi surpasses us as we are mechanics ourselves. Moreover, we speak perfect English. In the long run, you save because if you need help, we are straight to the point, clear and thus don’t waste your time. You deal with us in person, no employee, and therefore bureaucracy!
Off-road Motorbikes
Our off-road motorbikes include dual enduro like Honda CRF250L and CRF150L and dirt bikes like XR150L. They are probably the best because you can ride anywhere and potholes won’t be an issue. They are new models and were made between 2014 and 2019.
Touring Motorcycles
There are probably more touring motorcycles than off-road motorbikes in Vietnam and we offer 125cc and 150cc. They are new models, were made between 2014 and 2018. However, they don’t handle rough roads as well as dirt bikes. Sealed roads are the best for these bikes.
Semi-automatic Scooters
This kind of scooter is probably the most popular in Vietnam. It’s cheap, saves fuel, and very easy to get parts. You can hire 110cc Honda Wave or Blade that were made between 2014 and 2018 by Honda Vietnam. Many of our customers rent this kind of scooter to commute in Hanoi, especially expats who work here.
Fully-automatic Scooters
This kind of scooter is becoming more popular in Vietnam due to the better road condition. It’s not expensive, saves fuel, and very easy to get parts. You can hire 110cc Honda Vision or 125cc Honda Lead or Air Blade that was made between 2014 and 2019 by Honda Vietnam. Like Honda semi-automatic scooters, many of our customers rent fully-automatic scooters to commute in Hanoi, especially expats who work here.
50cc Scooters
We are proud to introduce the smallest scooters, available in either semi-automatic or fully-automatic versions. It’s only 50cc and according to Vietnamese laws, you won’t need any licence to ride it. In other words, you are 100% legal riding this kind of bike. However, it can accommodate only one rider, a passenger would be an extra workload and possibly it can’t handle.
Special notes for 50cc motorbikes
Due to the crazy price of a Japanese 50cc scooter (from around 2,000$US), we only provide Taiwanese SYM products that were made between 2017 and 2019. They are okay to ride. It’s not an official service from our company, rather just an option in case somebody needs it.
