We are not the cheapest option, but we aim to provide the best balance between cost, quality, service, and value. Our focus isn’t simply on low prices, but on providing a reliable and enjoyable Vietnam motorbike adventure.

Vietnam Motorbike Motorcycle Tours offers three types of trips: Fully guided (all-inclusive and fully escorted), Semi-guided (motorbike and guide hire), and Self-guided or Unguided (motorbike rental only). This gives riders a wide range of options to suit different budgets, riding abilities, motorcycles, and travel styles. Your final cost depends on the type of motorbike you choose, the type of tour you want, and the number of riders in your group. Option 1 Tour Prices. Unguided

Motorbike hire – the cheapest option for exploring Vietnam by motorcycle.

01. Honda Winner 150 touring motorcycle (2014): US$ 15/bike/day.
02. Honda XR150L 2016-2017 trail bike: US$ 20/bike/day.
03. Honda CRF150L 2019 dual-sport enduro: US$ 25/bike/day.
04. Honda CRF250L off-road dual-sport enduro (2013-2017): US$40/bike/day.

This unguided motorbike rental option is ideal for experienced riders who are confident navigating Vietnam independently and want maximum freedom over their route, accommodation, food, and daily schedule.

Price Option 2. Semi-guided

Motorbike and guide hire – affordable Vietnam motorbike tour prices with freedom and flexibility.

Our guide’s salary plus his motorcycle costs US$ 100/day/group, which is added to the motorbike rental price you choose from Option 1 above. We limit this type of semi-guided motorcycle tour to a maximum of five riders per guide. During the trip, you pay for fuel, accommodation, entrance tickets, drinks, and food for yourselves and our guide.

The biggest advantage of a semi-guided motorbike tour is the freedom it provides. You can decide where to eat, where to stay, and how you want to spend your time, while still having an experienced local guide to help with navigation, local roads, communication, and unexpected situations.

For example, if two people want to hire two Honda XR150L motorcycles and one guide, the total cost starts at US$ 140/day for two people, based on the motorcycle rental rate above.

Price Option 3. Fully-guided

Fully guided motorbike tours – the highest tour prices, but with the most comprehensive service, convenience, and support.

Our fully guided Vietnam motorbike adventures focus on quality, comfort, safety, and peace of mind. We select the best available local food, accommodation, and services along the route, allowing you to concentrate on riding and enjoying the journey. This has been our most popular type of trip since we started providing Vietnam motorbike tours in late 2006.

Customer satisfaction is our primary concern, and we aim to make every holiday one of the most memorable journeys our riders have experienced. Below are our general Vietnam motorbike tour prices, based on different motorcycle options and starting and ending in Hanoi. Each guide rides with a maximum of six people.

Including

• Motorcycle(s) and all fuel;
• Experienced tour guide/translator;
• Standard hotel accommodation (double, twin, or triple shared room) and/or homestay, including sleeping bags, mosquito nets, sheets, pillows, etc.;
• Third-party motorbike insurance;
• All food, including Vietnamese food. Western food is available at an additional cost;
• All entrance fees, permits, tickets, boat trips, ferries, bamboo rafts, and other activities specified in the itinerary;
• Vietnam Motorbike Motorcycle Tours support ⁽¹⁾. We stay with you and assist in any way;
• Vietnamese tea and local rice wine.

Not including

• Personal expenses and personal medical/travel insurance;
• Drinks other than Vietnamese tea and local rice wine;
• Single-room supplement if you request private accommodation;
• Motorbike protective gear, including riding pants, jacket, gloves, helmet, rain gear, and other safety equipment, available at a favourable rental rate;
• Train or flight tickets;
• Breakfast on the departure day and dinner on the return day;
• Accommodation in Hanoi;
• Tips.
